KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Fall is just around the corner, and there are many fall festivals and events to take advantage of. If you are looking for a way to embrace the fall spirit, check out the list of events and fall festivals below.
Knoxville
October 10 — The HoLa Festival will be taking place at the World’s Fair Park Performance Lawn from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will be a day filled with music, dancing, food, art, culture and community celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of Latin America.
October 31 — The Miles for Milestones 5K and Fall Festival will be taking place at Victor Ashe Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the event, there will be a 5K run/walk, a kids’ 100-yard dash, an inclusive trick-or-treat trail, and a costume contest. This event is free, but it is also raising money that will go toward pediatric therapy scholarships and other therapy-related needs for children.
Sevier County
Through October 31 — Dollywood’s Harvest Festival is offering guests a chance to soak in the sounds of live music, thrilling rides, the scent of fall treats as well as an opportunity to wander through the enchanting Hoot Owl Hollow and marvel at the towering 40-foot pumpkin tree.
September 25 – November 1 — Oktoberfest at Ober Gatlinburg is offering guests the chance to enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of a traditional Bavarian festival with views of the Smoky Mountains. On weekends, live polka bands will be performing on the outdoor sound stage and will also be giving guests a chance to join in on the fun with traditional Oktoberfest dances and sing-a-longs as well as stein-holding competitions…
