SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Multiple defendants, including four Savannah men facing charges ranging from kidnapping to armed robbery, have been indicted by a federal grand jury in the Southern District of Georgia.
U.S. Attorney Margaret E. “Meg” Heap announced the September term indictments, which span kidnapping, firearms offenses, drug distribution and immigration violations across the district.
The Savannah-area defendants named in the indictments include:
- Terrick Barice Griggs, 37, of Savannah, indicted on a charge of kidnapping.
- Eshon Grant, 34, of Savannah, indicted on two counts of interference with commerce by robbery, two counts of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
- Brandon L. Graddy, 41, of Savannah, indicted on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
- Raheem Kirkland, 30, of Savannah, indicted on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Four other individuals from outside the immediate Savannah area were also indicted during the session:
- Tommy Browner Jr., 40, of Rayle, Georgia, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
- Calvin C. Britt, 59, of Hephzibah, Georgia, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
- Damien Deshawn Stubbs, 36, of Augusta, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
- Anthony Torres, 35, a citizen of Mexico, charged with possession of fraudulent immigration documents and aggravated identity theft.
Federal officials emphasized that indictments contain only charges, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court…
