Vecina, the Arcadia restaurant known for its modern American, Latin-inspired cuisine, is expanding to Scottsdale with a second location opening Friday, Sept. 18. The new Vecina at McCormick Ranch will bring many of the respected restaurant’s established dishes and cocktails to a significantly larger space, while adding lake views, private dining, catering capabilities, and room for an expanded menu.
The Scottsdale opening marks the first expansion for Vecina since owners Raenee and James Fox debuted the original neighborhood restaurant in Phoenix in 2019. The restaurant was nominated for a James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in 2020.
Vecina Expands to Scottsdale
The new location occupies the former Z’Tejas space in central Scottsdale. Its design maintains elements associated with the original Vecina while introducing features specific to McCormick Ranch.
