BLINK Cincinnati 2026 returns Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11, turning more than 30 blocks of the city’s urban core into a free, walkable light and art show. Organizers describe it as the nation’s largest public art festival, with projection mapping, murals and light installations spread from Findlay Market in Cincinnati to Covington in Northern Kentucky.
The festival runs from 7 to 11 p.m. each night, and no ticket is required. For families across Southwest Ohio, that makes it a low-cost evening downtown, about an hour’s drive from Dayton. New this year is a larger opening celebration on Oct. 8 that starts at 4 p.m., hours before the lights come on.
Most of BLINK happens outdoors and on foot, so planning comes down to two decisions: which neighborhood to start in and where to park.
How BLINK Cincinnati 2026 Works
Most displays run three to eight minutes on a continuous loop, according to the festival’s FAQ page, so there is no showtime to catch. With a few exceptions, each night features the same installations.
