Accumold, which makes small plastic parts for the medical, microelectronics, and optics industries, plans to expand its facility in Ankeny to meet the growing demand from customers, said Brett Saddoris, the company’s technical marketing manager.
In support of Accumold’s expansion, the Iowa Economic Development Authority today approved more than $1.08 million in tax incentives from the Business Incentives for Growth Program for the project that will create 150 jobs. Of those, 20 will be paid more than $34 per hour, IEDA documents show.
