SHREVEPORT, La. — Southwood High School students, families and community members gathered Saturday to celebrate the start of homecoming week with a parade and carnival.
The annual parade featured Southwood’s homecoming court and other participants traveling along Walker Road. Candy and beads were tossed along the parade route, while orange and blue decorations showed off the school’s spirit.
