FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The 51st annual Johnny Appleseed Festival, which initially changed its layout due to recent heavy rains, has ended early this year for the same reasons.
On the festival’s official Facebook page, it announced that it would be shutting down earlier than normal this year at 3 p.m. on Sunday. The post explained that the festival organizers wanted to give vendors enough time to close up shop before more heavy rain fell over the area.
