HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — History came to life at the Harrisburg Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, thanks to one local playwright who brought back the stories of some of Harrisburg’s most influential women.
160 years ago, 18 women came together to form a support group of sorts for families who lost loved ones in the Civil War.
A number of them are buried at the Harrisburg Cemetery, but their legacies go far beyond the grave.
