The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will stay put in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll. Notre Dame remains at number three.
It’s not surprising news — the Irish took care of business with a 27-10 win at home against Michigan State on Saturday night. The game was close early and the heavily favored Irish struggled to run the ball in the first half. Notre Dame’s more talented roster eventually won out, but the Irish didn’t get many style points.
So, it stands to reason that a favorite that won without much flair won’t move in the poll…
