Shemar Electric USA is relocating its headquarters to North Charlotte. The power-grid hardware maker will open its first U.S. manufacturing site with a $15 million investment, creating 80 jobs at a 94,640-square-foot building at 11125 Metromont Parkway.
CEO Justin Jin said the company shut down its Memphis, Tennessee, headquarters earlier in 2026 as part of the relocation. The new spot will serve dual purposes as both corporate office and the first factory on American soil.
