A Bradenton man accused in a fatal Palmetto hit-and-run was arrested again weeks later following a pursuit with Manatee County deputies.
In April, Palmetto police charged James Vella, 42, with leaving the scene of a crash involving death after officers say he struck a pedestrian while driving a borrowed Cadillac.
Court records show Vella posted a $50,000 bond in June. Less than a month later, detectives looking for him on several outstanding warrants from Pinellas County used his electronic ankle monitor to track him to a Bradenton apartment complex, according to an arrest report…
