The Spirit of Will Rogers Award is designed to honor those who embody the character and spirit of its namesake, but the yearly galas have been gone for nearly a decade. Two local rotary clubs are reviving the galas this year, and DJ Morrow and Suzy Morgan joined News On 6 to talk more about the event. The gala is on Friday, September 25, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa, 777 West Cherokee Street, Catoosa, OK 74015.
