ROSELAWN, Ohio (WKRC) – A fire that destroyed two vans used to transport children to and from Inner City Youth Opportunities has forced the nonprofit to rent replacement vehicles and shift money away from other parts of its programming.
Inner City Youth Opportunities, located off Reading Road, serves children from kindergarten through high school, offering tutoring, mentorship, free meals, and free transportation. About a month ago, the organization’s two vans were intentionally set on fire, leaving behind charred wires and broken glass, police said.
