12 ways Ann Arbor plans to divide and spend millions from downtown property sale

ANN ARBOR, MI — The approved sale of the city-owned Kline’s lot in Ann Arbor means millions of dollars are expected to pour into the city’s coffers, and the city has big plans for the money.

City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night, Sept. 22, to approve a spending plan recommended by City Administrator Milton Dohoney for the $14.2 million to $17.4 million the city could get from the sale.
