HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania lawmakers are celebrating 50 years since the creation of the Victims Compensation Assistance Program.
Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis and other officials gathered at the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency in Harrisburg on Monday to celebrate the program, which provides financial aid to people who have suffered physical, emotional or financial harm due to a crime.
