HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — A&M Composting will pay over $700,000 in civil penalties after the Shapiro administration held the company accountable for wastewater violations related to recent fires.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has entered into a Consent Order and Agreement (COA) with A&M Composting, Inc. to resolve damages caused by two fires that occurred at a company facility in November 2023 and December 2025.
