GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Georgetown Police Department is investigating a string of vehicle break-ins after about 10 vehicles were targeted Tuesday night in northeastern Georgetown near I-75.
Police said some vehicles were left unlocked, allowing people to pull the door handles and take items from inside. In other cases, windows were broken.
Georgetown Police Captain Lewis Crump said the location of the break-ins is significant because of its proximity to the interstate.
