A Perry woman is facing federal charges after allegedly trying to distribute drugs.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office Southern District of Iowa, 24-year-old Marisol Ordaz Buenrostro was arrested on Tuesday during the execution of a federal search warrant in Perry. Nine other search warrants were executed the same day in Marshalltown and Des Moines, resulting in the seizure of $21,193, six firearms and 18 phones.
The attorney’s office says Buenrostro has been charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and related crimes, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to life…
