OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – An investigation is underway after more than 30 bison belonging to the Quapaw Nation died during the month of August.
Among the animals that died was a rare white buffalo named “Frosty.” The cause of the deaths has not been identified, but 143 surviving bison are recovering from dehydration.
