DEL CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — An 18-year-old student was arrested on Wednesday after police found a firearm in a vehicle parked on the Mid-Del Career Academy campus in Del City.
According to the Del City Police Department, officers responded to the school just after 1 p.m. after staff reported that a student, later identified as Kijae Lofton, made threats toward another student, including indications that a gun might be on school grounds.
Police assisted school staff members in searching Lofton’s vehicle, where they located a pistol. He was arrested at the scene, and Mid-Del Schools immediately barred him from returning to campus for the rest of the school year…
