ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A California-based company wants to build a new scientific facility near downtown Albuquerque in a lot that has sat empty for decades.
On the corner of Broadway and Lomas, California-based Noblespace wants to build a new scientific campus, called Forge ABQ. The company is proposing two separate buildings with flexible laboratory and manufacturing space for up to six different companies. The $45 million project would also include a new cafe, event spaces and a public plaza.
“It’s going to really fill in a blank spot, anchor that intersection a bit more and give people something nice to look at.
