DES MOINES, Iowa – Several Iowa communities are suing some of the country’s largest fire truck manufacturers, accusing the companies of driving up prices and delaying deliveries as fire departments face growing equipment challenges.
Des Moines filed a lawsuit this summer along with several other cities. Johnston and Grimes are now among the latest Iowa communities to join the litigation.
