BERNE, Ind. (WANE) – Separated by less than 15 minutes, county rivals Adams Central and South Adams are set to square off in your Highlight Zone Game of the Week on Friday at Starfire Field.
Both programs have combined to win the last nine ACAC titles. However, Adams Central has ruled the conference the last handful of years. The Jets have won eight straight meetings against rival South Adams, with the last loss coming back in the 2020 season.
Adams Central is ranked fifth in Class 3A in the USA Today 3A poll and sixth in the IFCA poll. The Jets feature an experience group led by senior quarterback and defensive back Jamison Roach. Last week, Roach scored both of Adams Central’s touchdowns to lead the Jets past Heritage in a 14-7 win.
