(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Huntersville bottle shop became the second Mecklenburg County establishment to be convicted of felony tax fraud this month.
Managers of Crafty Beer Guys pleaded guilty to several charge Sept. 14, including aiding and abetting the embezzlement of state property, Attorney General Jeff Jackson announced.
Court records show Kristian Pedersen, while president and manager of CBG Draft Services and Crafty Beer Guys between 2019 and 2022, embezzled more than $600,000 in North Carolina sales tax and pocketed the money.
