Fairport, N.Y. (WHAM) — The Village of Fairport is vying for $10 million from New York state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
The canalside village is in the brainstorming phase of potential projects, and is welcoming ideas and partners.
“It’s one grant given out per Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council region,” said Bryan White, Fairport’s village manager. “There are 10 regions in the state, and we’re vying for that $10 million grant.”…
