Site work is slated to begin soon on a massive 700-acre mixed-use development in The Villages that will be anchored by a new AdventHealth hospital.
Dubbed “Legacy Place,” the super-regional destination will span nearly three miles along Florida’s Turnpike near County Road 470 and Central Parkway, serving as a new southern gateway to the community.
A collaboration between The Villages and Benderson Development, the sprawling site will feature walkable public spaces and a mix of retail shops, restaurants, businesses and wellness facilities.
