On Sept. 23, UNC Charlotte celebrated the 80th anniversary of its founding.
In honor of 80 years, Chancellor Sharon Gaber and other top faculty members planted a tree at the Gage Undergraduate Admissions Center.
The University will also be partnering with TreesCharlotte, a nonprofit organization that will help plant 80 oak trees across Mecklenburg County.
