Baltimore City is preparing to blend a small amount of Susquehanna River water with water from Loch Raven Reservoir to supplement its drinking water supply as drought conditions strain the city’s reservoirs.
The Department of Public Works expects to begin using the river as a supplemental source in early October, depending on reservoir conditions.
