Authorities in Washington said 15 dogs and two cats have been rescued from a purported “rescue” that allegedly kept them confined in “deplorable” conditions.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said its Animal Control division responded on Sept. 21 to complaints about a property “reportedly operating a dog rescue.” They arrived to find 15 dogs confined to small crates inside a garage in deplorable conditions, two of them with injuries.
