Two Trenton men and a juvenile were arrested after Trenton police stopped a car on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers found a loaded handgun and crack cocaine inside, according to Princeton Patch. The stop happened Sept. 17.
Police charged Lucciano Jones, 18, and Jarell Lundy, 20, both of Trenton, along with a juvenile whose name was not released. All three were taken to Trenton Police Headquarters.
How Did the Stop Begin?
Trenton Police Officers Chaz Cason and Shane Williams were patrolling the area of Calhoun Street around 4:04 p.m. when they spotted a Volkswagen sedan violating a state motor vehicle law, Patch reported. Neither Patch nor Newport Dispatch specified which law was broken.
They followed the car onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, then pulled it over.
