ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Police in St. Petersburg are asking for the public’s help to find a driver who struck and killed a motorcyclist early Sunday morning and drove away from the scene.
According to investigators, the crash happened around 1:10 a.m. on September 27 at the intersection of 4th Street North and 9th Avenue North.
A 65-year-old Pinellas Park man was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle south on 4th Street North. At the same time, a dark-colored Mercedes SUV was heading northbound on 4th Street North. Police said the SUV turned west onto 9th Avenue North directly in front of the motorcycle, causing the collision…
