St. Paul’s Catholic School could soon get a new home.
The school has put in for a permit to build a new campus on 515 W. Blaine Ave. in Nampa, just over one mile from its current location. The new site is right next to St . Paul’s Catholic Church. The church relocated to this building in 2013, according to St. Paul’s website.
St. Paul’s is the only private Catholic school in Canyon County. It opened in 1922, and students were taught by the Dominican Sisters, then the Sisters of the Holy Cross, then the Benedictine Sisters until 2001, when the church’s parishioners took over instruction after the retirement of Sister Scholastica Uhlenkott…
