CINCINNATI — Rodney Hinton Jr., accused of killing former Hamilton County sheriff’s deputy Larry Henderson while Henderson directed traffic at a University of Cincinnati graduation, is scheduled to stand trial next week after pleading not guilty by reason of insanity.
Hinton appeared in court on Monday for a final pretrial hearing. Jury selection is set to begin next Monday, with opening statements expected later in the week. The trial could last up to three weeks.
