NESBIT, Miss. (WMC) – One lieutenant and three deputies with the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department have been cleared of any wrongdoing after a noise complaint in October 2025 led to the shooting death of an 18-year-old.
The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office announced Monday that their use of force was ruled justified.
