Your ever-growing “restaurants to try” list has two new entries. Yelp has named two New York City spots among its Best New Restaurants of 2026 list: a Hudson Yards Mexican restaurant with a dramatic past life and a NoMad Indian clubhouse where dinner can turn into a four-course feast.
Limusina landed at No. 3 on Yelp’s ranking. Before it became an amber-lit, Art Deco dining room, the space was a parking garage; now it’s a buzzy Mexican restaurant from Quality Branded, the group behind such high-profile names as Don Angie and Bad Roman.
Executive chef Craig Koketsu serves queso fundido flambéed with Xtabentún, a liqueur from the Yucatán, and a sword-shaped quesadilla filled with black truffle and guava jam. There’s also a long-bone short rib quesabirria with consommé for dipping, plus red snapper tacos coated in crunchy rice flakes.
Coming in at No. 10, Ambassadors Clubhouse has brought some considerable grandeur to NoMad. The restaurant comes from siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi, whose London restaurant of the same name has earned a Michelin star.
