PRICHARD, Ala. (NBC 15) — Prichard leaders are working to finalize a new city budget while considering a contract with Mobile County for law enforcement services. During a finance committee meeting Tuesday, Mayor Carletta Davis told council members the city has failed to collect millions of dollars in potential revenue.
“It’s time for Prichard to get what it is owed,” said Davis. “Franchise fees are not where they should be. We have not collected a municipal tax for local lodging. We have not collected a municipal tax for our gas even.”…
