ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man on parole for murder has now been accused of a stabbing Monday night on Genesee Street.
Rochester police officers responded to Genesee Street at 11:30 Monday night and found a man in his 60s with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.
According to investigators, the victim observed 48-year-old Cordell Lanier yelling at a girl on Genesee Street. The victim reported that he told Lanier to leave her alone.
