Rochester mayor says violent crimes are down, but more work is still needed

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Mayor Malik Evans is highlighting the drop in shootings and other violent crimes in the city.

Gun-related homicides are 68% below the 10-year average, Evans said.
