GRAFTON – Shovels are in the dirt, and work is underway.
On September 24, stakeholders gathered at 17-27 Upton Street – the former site of Grafton’s Department of Public Works facility – to celebrate the construction of The Griffin, a four-story, 131,000-square-foot building consisting of 122 units.
Through a collaboration with the Affordable Housing Trust, 25 percent (31) of the units will be deemed “affordable,” and there will be 16 studios, 80 one-bedroom units, and 26 two-bedroom units in total.
