Woman accused of driving into Lexington crowd asking court to vacate driver’s license suspension

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A woman Lexington police say drove her car through a crowd downtown and injured several people is asking the court to vacate her pretrial driver’s license suspension.

Kaydence Carpenter is facing multiple charges, including operating a vehicle under the influence, wanton endangerment, reckless driving and licensee allowing a person under the age of 21 on a premises where alcohol is served.

She was arrested in March after allegedly driving her car through a crowd and going the wrong way down a one-way street while under the influence…
