Marion County Animal Services provided free medical care and vaccinations to 177 local pet, including 112 free spay and neuter surgeries, during a major community clinic held at its new facility this weekend.
On Saturday, September 26, veterinary teams performed 112 free spay and neuter surgeries aimed at reducing unwanted litters across the county.
An additional 65 pets received routine vaccinations, with 35 animals served through the department’s drive-thru clinic and 30 pets vaccinated by team members from Chi University.
