Portland company feels the burn from U.S., Canada tariffs

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – At Portland Syrups in Southeast Portland, the brew of the day is banana bread. The company, started in 2012, makes some 60 different beverage syrups.

The products are stocked in retail stores, shipped directly to consumers, and shipped to wholesalers around the U.S.

Chelsea Dungan, CEO of Portland Syrups, says, “We make mixers for all sorts of beverages. Cocktails, mocktails, coffee, tea.”
