Costco representatives gave a detailed presentation Sept. 28 to the Westfield City Council about a proposed new store, prompting lengthy discussion about a planned left-turn entrance from 191st Street.
A couple of councilors called the left turn a “non-starter” for safety reasons while Costco representatives said that access point was a key part of the plan, which is due to go in front of the city’s plan commission Oct. 5 for a public hearing.
