Collective Soul Returns to Vegas Strip for Big Game Weekend, Edwin McCain in Tow

Collective Soul is heading back to the Las Vegas Strip for a three-night run at The Venetian Theatre, with singer-songwriter Edwin McCain returning for a special appearance across all three shows during Big Game Weekend. The multi-platinum Atlanta rock band will play the intimate venue on Wednesday, February 10, Friday, February 12, and Saturday, February 13, 2027, each show kicking off at 8:30 p.m.

The run marks the second consecutive year the band has staged Big Game Weekend shows at the venue, following a three-night engagement on February 4, 6 and 7, 2026, according to a post from Collective Soul. That earlier run effectively established the pairing as a returning annual tradition at The Venetian, with McCain once again along for the ride as special guest rather than a standard opener. As FOX5 Vegas reports, the band is expected to run through staples like “Shine,” “December” and “The World I Know” across the three nights.

The showroom itself is part of the draw. Designed in the style of a classic European opera house, The Venetian Theatre seats 1,798 patrons across three levels, including 961 orchestra seats plus upper balcony and box seating, and runs on a concert-grade Meyer Sound system, per the venue’s own specifications.

A Band With Seven Number Ones and a Fresh Double Album

Collective Soul isn’t just leaning on nostalgia for a single hit. The band holds seven number-one songs on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, topped by 1999’s “Heavy,” which set a record with 15 consecutive weeks at number one. Back in 1994, “Shine” itself spent eight consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, a run that predates the band’s later Mainstream Rock dominance…
