MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A federal judge Wednesday ruled that the public is allowed to see body camera video from a Mobile police SWAT team raid that led to a fatal shooting in 2023.
The shooting occurred on Sheringham Drive in November 2023. Randall Adjessom, a teenager who lived at the house, died during that raid.
U.S. District Judge Terry Moorer in July dismissed part of a wrongful-death lawsuit filed against Mobile police officers involved in the raid but allowed some counts to move forward. In that ruling, he ordered the public release of police-worn body camera videos that he relied on in that ruling…
