SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A Shreveport mother is calling for crosswalks on Hearne Avenue after her 14-year-old daughter, Cali Agent, was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking there less than a year ago.
Cali was walking what was supposed to be a six-minute trip to Wendy’s. Four minutes into the walk, she was struck and killed.
“I just want people to know that Cali was more than the little girl that died on her,” Autumn Agent, Cali’s mother, said. “She was full of love and full of life.”

Agent said Cali should be celebrating her 15th birthday this December. Instead, Agent said she will spend that birthday remembering her daughter’s life…
