Michigan man pleads guilty to role in drug trafficking conspiracy in West Virginia

HUNTINGTON, WV (WVNS) — A man from Michigan pleaded guilty to a role in a drug trafficking conspiracy in West Virginia.

According to a press release, on Monday, September 28, 2026, 40-year-old William Louis Johnson III, also known as “BJ,” of Detroit, Michigan, pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting the distribution of 50 grams or more of a methamphetamine mixture. Johnson acknowledged his part in a drug trafficking organization that distributed methamphetamine and fentanyl in the Huntington area.
