Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell was born in Daly City and raised in San Francisco, and whenever he comes back, he always hits up the Mission.
The actor was in the Bay Area on Thursday for the Mill Valley Film Festival, promoting his new film, “Wild Horse Nine.” The festival’s schedule also includes a retrospective of his work, followed by an in-depth conversation.
