SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A fire heavily damaged Milan Day Spa on Broughton Street Thursday morning, leaving the business uninhabitable and its staff looking for a temporary place to work.
The spa’s owner, Catherine Garrido, moved to Savannah from England and built Milan Day Spa from the ground up. The business has been part of the Savannah community for more than 16 years and has about 12 employees.
