Several arrested in Johnson, Somervell counties during human trafficking probe

Several people were arrested across North Texas on Thursday in connection to a human trafficking investigation out of Johnson and Somervell counties, according to KDFW-TV.

Multiple search warrants were executed Thursday by local, state and national law enforcement agencies, officials with district attorney Timothy Good’s office told KDFW. The investigation has been going on for months, and those arrested were charged with offenses related to racketeering and organized criminal activity.

Evidence was collected from locations in Fort Worth, Burleson and Mansfield, but no details were released about the locations searched or people arrested, according to the Cleburne Times-Review…
